The class has been busy working on their community building skills. They have come up with class, center, and other rules/ procedures to make the class run smoother this year.

Classroom Rules and Procedures

· We will be kind, respectful and polite to all

· We will focus and listen to the person talking

· We will take pride in our work/ try your best before asking for help

Class Mascot

The class voted and decided they wanted to be the wolves because wolves are prideful, loyal and do not give up.

Class Schedule (Tentative- Subject to change)

· 8:00 Math problem of the day

· 8:30 Centers

· 9:40 Self Selected Reading

· 10:00 Writer’s Workshop

· 11:10 Recess

· 11:40 Lunch

· 12:15 Read a loud/Class meeting

· 1:00 Centers

· 2:00 Special classes (T-art, W-Music, TH-P.E., F-drama)

Dance is Monday at 11 and recess on Monday only is at 12:15.

Don’t forget 3 tardies is an absence. 10 absences are grounds for retention.

Homework

Homework will go out on Friday and will be collected the following Friday and checked in class and returned.
